Welcome to Senior School
It’s a big step, starting Senior School. Year 6s are ready for a new adventure and an exciting journey awaits you at Stafford Grammar School.
Stafford Grammar School is a warm and caring community, with teachers who will help you on your way to success. We help our pupils to settle in very quickly and become part of the SGS family. The school is always busy with a huge range of activities.
Our success is based on getting to know every pupil as an individual and supporting them to achieve their full academic and personal potential.
Each of our forms is a member of a House, with a tutor and Head of House to guide and nurture them.
Our pupils produce stunning work – in art, music, drama, essays and many other areas of academic life. We enable every pupil to thrive in lessons, but we also want to develop their experiences beyond the classroom. We achieve great success in exams, yet at the same time the atmosphere in the senior school is warm and friendly. We do not ‘hothouse’ our pupils and everything we do is underpinned by our school values, with our students demonstrating great kindness towards each other.
The quality of relationships here is outstanding; our wonderful staff strive to bring out the best in our students. Our students are the life and soul of the school and we delight in their successes in and outside of the classroom.
