Our mission is to offer a broad and inspiring programme of sport, so that all pupils at Stafford Grammar School have the opportunity to develop their skills, teamwork, leadership and healthy lifestyles.

We believe that sport is for everyone, regardless of ability, and we want our pupils to adopt a life-long love of sport and to get involved in as many activities as possible. Through inspiring teaching and high-level coaching, we ensure that all students at Stafford Grammar School reach their sporting potential.

Our pupils are pushed out of their comfort zone in an environment that builds resilience, and with nurturing teachers and coaches who strive to build confidence and enable enjoyment. We also offer a biennial ski trip that is hugely popular and places are taken very quickly.

Pupils' Sport beyond Stafford Grammar School

We have had students representing Great Britain in rounders, football, ice hockey, shooting, skiing and many other sports, with many other pupils involved in county, regional and sporting academies across our major team and club sports.

Impact Tennis runs an optional tennis coaching service for our students as well as leadership training for sixth form students.
