Senior School Life

Life at Stafford Grammar School is busy and exciting. As well as inspiring lessons, there is always a fantastic range of activities going on and we want all of our students to get involved in some of the many exciting extra-curricular activities

The best thing about Stafford Grammar School is that everyone can be themselves

The best thing about Stafford Grammar is the way it makes you feel – like you can do anything

School Day

Stafford Grammar School is open from 8.00am until 6.00pm and offers wrap-around care (included in the fees) for parents who wish to use it. The school day ends at 3.50 p.m. and students are then able to join in with any after school clubs or attend our Homework Club until 6 p.m. if they wish to.

Pupil voice

Stafford Grammar School is a listening school and we take our students’ views seriously and enable them to engage in decision-making. Each Form elects representatives for our Student Council, which meets half-termly.

The aim of the Student Council is to canvas views and implement ideas for the benefit of students in the school.

There are also many informal occasions for pupils’ voices to be heard. One of the great strengths of our school is the relationships between pupils and their teachers. Sixth Form students act as prefects and ‘form managers’ for younger pupils, to encourage, mentor and lend a friendly listening ear.
