Meet the dedicated individuals who guide and support Stafford Grammar School’s mission and values through their service on our Board of Governors.
Mr S Mahal has recently been appointed as the Chair of Governors, and is a former Secretary of the School's PTA. Mr Mahal has recent experience of the School as a parent. He is also on the School's Finance, Development & Audit Committee. He has a background in science and experience of running two different businesses in the past 25 years.

Mr I. Pickstock, a serving police officer, serves as the Safeguarding Governor at Stafford Grammar School, supporting the school's commitment to pupil welfare and safety.

Mrs V. Hawley, Chair of Admissions and Marketing, recently served as the High Sheriff of Staffordshire and brings extensive experience within the Independent School sector. She plays a key role in guiding families through our admissions journey and promoting all that our school has to offer.

Mr A. Cooper, Chair of the Health and Safety Committee, is currently a Borough Councillor for Haywood and Hixon and an engineer by background, having worked in the food and drink industry since the 1980s. He provides strategic oversight and leadership in ensuring the highest standards of safety and wellbeing across our community.

Mr B. Phillips is a Chartered Accountant with a distinguished career in finance. Before retiring, he served as Group Finance Director at Portmeirion Group PLC, following a long and successful tenure with the company. In addition to his professional achievements, he continues to contribute to the community as a member of the Board of Trustees for Katherine House Hospice.

Mrs P Dyble is a former Chair of the School's PTA. Mrs Dyble has experience of the School as a parent, and has extensive experience of running her own business. She is also on the School's Educational Standards Committee
