A School Designed for Individual Growth
Admissions
Set within 35 acres of beautiful Staffordshire countryside, our school combines the character and heritage of a historic setting with the opportunities and facilities expected of a modern independent education. Designed by the renowned Victorian architect Augustin Pugin, our main school building provides an inspiring backdrop to a learning environment where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish.

Your child's journey to Stafford Grammar starts here:
One of the greatest strengths of Stafford Grammar School is that our Pre-Prep (Nursery), Prep School, Senior School and Sixth Form are all located on a single site. This creates a genuine sense of community and provides a seamless educational journey from age 3 to 19. As pupils grow, they benefit from increasing independence whilst remaining within a familiar, supportive environment.
The space afforded by our extensive grounds gives children the freedom to explore, learn and develop confidence beyond the classroom. Whether they are discovering nature through Forest School, participating in sport, performing on stage or collaborating in the classroom, pupils have the room and encouragement to develop their individual talents and interests.

Pre-Prep and Prep
For our youngest pupils, dedicated Pre-Prep and Prep facilities provide a secure and nurturing environment where children can build confidence, form friendships and develop a love of learning. Families value the reassurance of knowing their children are safe, supported and cared for throughout the school day.
Senior School
As pupils progress through the school, they benefit from specialist facilities that enrich their educational experience. Modern science laboratories encourage curiosity and practical investigation, while our theatre, dance studio and sports facilities provide opportunities for pupils to develop creativity, teamwork, leadership and resilience. Learning at Stafford Grammar School extends far beyond examination success; it is about helping young people discover their strengths and fulfil their potential.
Sixth Form
Our Sixth Form pupils enjoy dedicated spaces designed to prepare them for the next stage of their lives. Alongside specialist study areas, they benefit from opportunities to develop independence, leadership skills and the self-confidence needed to thrive at university, in apprenticeships and beyond.
