The Day’s Itinerary Morning Session: Setting Up for Success
We want our prospective pupils to feel confident and at ease. We will begin the morning with fun ice-breaker activities to help everyone settle in and make friends.
The Assessment:Â Pupils will then complete our modern, online-based assessments covering English, Mathematics, and puzzle/problem-solving, followed by a short, creative writing piece.
Afternoon Session: Experience Senior School Life
After a well-deserved lunch together, the pressure is completely off
Teamwork & Tasters:Â The afternoon is dedicated to energetic team-building activities and interactive taster lessons. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to experience the vibrant atmosphere, friendly teaching staff, and pure enjoyment of life as a senior pupil at Stafford Grammar.

This evening is designed to give both you and your son or daughter a comprehensive insight into the rewarding academic opportunities and vibrant community life that awaits them in our Sixth Form.

What to Expect From the Evening. Introduction to Sixth Form Life
We will begin the evening with a brief welcome and overview of our Sixth Form experience, covering:

A guide to day-to-day pupil life

The rest of the evening is entirely customisable to your son or daughters unique interests and aspirations. Every A-Level subject we offer will be hosted in a designated room, where our specialist teachers will deliver short presentations detailing:

The key skills required to transition smoothly into Sixth Form study
The evening will consist of five flexible sessions. Once you and your son or daughter have considered which subjects they might like to pursue, you can freely decide which presentations to attend and in what order.
