How do you feel SGS helped to shape the person you are today?
Taught me how to balance a million and one different activities at once, that’s come in quite handy!
What was your experience at SGS like?
I loved it, especially the music and sport opportunities
Were there any teachers who inspired you or made a particular impression on you?
I suppose Mr Harwood might have left some kind of impression…Mrs Saxon however made a particular impression, she was always very supportive and encouraging and helped a lot of the girls especially realise their potential.
What did you do after SGS?
Lancaster University- studied German and Politics, spent a year abroad teaching english, moved back to Germany after graduation and lived in Munich working in finance
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Getting a place on a competitive grad scheme
What advice would you give to anyone wanting to follow a similar path to you?
Hmm not sure – don’t worry if you don’t know what you want to do, you can always change and study something you enjoy, it makes it so much easier!
What are your ambitions for the future?
Hopefully qualify in the next 2 years and build from there, live abroad again (somewhere further afield) for a year or two
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Gym, netball, cycling
