Policies and Inspection Reports
As an independent school and member of the Independent Schools Council, Stafford Grammar School is inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI).
ISI is a government-approved inspectorate which inspects independent schools on behalf of the Department for Education.
In March 2022 ISI conducted an Educational Quality Inspection of Stafford Grammar School. This type of inspection focuses on the quality of two areas; pupils’ academic and other achievements and pupils’ personal development. Stafford Grammar School secured the highest possible rating of ‘Excellent’ in both aspects.
In January 2018, Stafford Grammar School was inspected for regulatory compliance. Inspectors observed a sample of lessons, extra-curricular activities, conducted interviews with students, examined work as well as speaking to teachers, senior staff members, governors and parents. The outcome was full compliance and the feedback was extremely positive.
